- The Government is keen to continue to encourage growth in the private rented sector.
- The need for higher deposits and the lack of mortgage funding available to younger people is forcing them to wait until later in life to purchase a property - so they will rent. We do not see this situation changing for many years to come and it is quite likely that this ‘shift’ to rented property will be a permanent one.
